It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Anastasia Teresa (Anne) Dearsley of Cobden, Ontario, born in Barrys Bay, Ontario, who passed away on April 25, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley Stoppa Sr. and Mary Stoppa Nee Zelney; her husband Sidney Dearsley; her son Dennis Stoppa; her children-in-law, Gerald Devlin, Drew Gazey and Linda Stoppa; and her siblings, Florence, Monica and Raymond.
She is survived by: her children, Ray Stoppa (Dorothy), Gretchen Devlin (Rob), David Dearsley (Lynn) and Patricia Gazey; and her siblings, Stanley Stoppa (Sally), Leona Buraczewski (Edward), Gerard Stoppa (Clare), Joan Hilder (Jack) and Robert Stoppa (Giselle). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
