He was predeceased by: his brothers, Roy and Lee Sutton; his sisters-in-law, Mary Burk and Janette Sutton; and his parents, Charles Sutton and Elizabeth Sutton (Waugh).

He is survived by: his wife Margaret Sutton (Burk); his children, Peggy Neuhart (Peter), Stuart Sutton (Rose), Michael Sutton (Beth), Judy Sutton and Heather Sutton (Morrie); his grandchildren, Michael, Jenn, Matthew, Lisa, Tim, Amy, Christopher, Katie, Erin, Jennifer, Emily, Megan, Erica, Andrew and Rebecca; his brother Arnold Sutton (Gail); and his siblings-in-law, Carl Burk, Grace Darling (Al) and Nonie Burk. He is also survived by his extended family and many good friends.
