He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Hudson Hunt and Daisy Grace Rolfe. He is survived by: his wife Eileen; his sister Jane Cannelle (John); his son-in-law Ted Whitby; his children, Mary Jane Whitby (Paul Hamel) of Temagami and Hudson Hunt (Wendy) of Red Deer, AB; his sister Anne Cooksey of Edmonton, AB; his grandchildren, Eric Whitby (Christine Coulson) of Edmonton, AB, Adam Whitby (Megan Messenger) of Sudbury, Mason Hunt of Red Deer, AB and Mariah Hunt of Calgary, AB.; and his great grandchild Grace Whitby of Sudbury.

Due to Covid 19 there will be no formal service.

As expressions of sympathy memorial donations may be made to the "Temiskaming Foundation".
