He was predeceased by: his child Louise; and his siblings, Stan (late Muriel), Violet Cashmore (late Cliff), George (late Marge), Ivan (late Jean), Phyllis Milroy (late Ian) and Joe (late Sandra).
He is survived by: his husband Née Duval; his children, Dan (Jude), Sue Cunningham (Mike) and Pat (Colleen); his great grandchildren, Grace and Danielle; and his siblings, Bill and Lawrence (Florence).
