He was predeceased by: his wife Betty (Beattie); his brother Ray Young; his daughter-in-law Margaret Young; his great grandchild Paisley Young; and his parents, Charles Young and Alta Young.

He is survived by: his sons, Ken and Kevin of Goderich; his grandsons, John (Joan) and Ron (Natalie); his great grandchildren, Colin, Corey, Skyler, Bryson, Everest and Brady Young; his sister Vera Bedard of Windsor; and his sister-in-law Barb Young of Goderich.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Huron Hospice Bender House gratefully acknowledged by the family.
