She was predeceased by: her daughter Tannis Smith; her parents, Sybilla Diepen and Arie Van Diepen; and her nephew Robert Kennedy. She is survived by: her children, Dana (James Truckle) and Kim Smith (Dominic Lachance); her grandchildren, Halley, Tyler and Dylan; her siblings, Nellie Van Diepen, Mary (Bill Mole), Andy (Karen Van Diepen) and Anne (Norm Kennedy); and her nieces and nephews, Tammy (Mike), Julie (Barb), Ryan and David (Nicole).
