She was predeceased by: her close friend Peter Dunn; her parents, Charles Scotchmer and Lulu Scotchmer; her children, Kelly Knights (Dale Jones) of Brucefield and Krista Lloyd (Brian) of Clinton; her grandchildren, Kendra, Korbin, Kourtney, Katelyn, Ashley, Zachary and Matthew; her great grandchildren, Caydence, Sydney, Leo, Micheal, Amy, Arturius and Roan; her sisters, Patsy Morgan (Doug) and Charlene Porter (Gordon); and her niece Faith.
Donations in memory of Ruthann may be made to the Clinton Public Hospital (specifically the Emergency Department and Inpatient Unit) or to Huron Hospice Bender House.
