He was predeceased by: his spouse Ruby Pickard (Nivins); his daughter Cathy Mahon; and his siblings, Don Pickard, Margaret, Gordon Eastman, Les Armstrong, Bill Caldwell, Gordon Nivins, Earl, Thelma Nivins, Lois, Harold Dickson and Viola Nivins.
He is survived by: his child Brian Pickard of Londesborough; his grandchildren, Derrell, Amanda Mahon and Justin Mahon; his great grandchildren, Charlotte, Avalyn and Patrick; and his siblings, Joan Chalmers (Jim), Ruth Pickard, Alma Caldwell and Mary Nivins of Kitchener.
