He was predeceased by: his mother Agnes Ann Marie Carter (Marks); and his sister Rose Mary Agnes Fidom (Carter). He is survived by: his father Gordon Carter; his close friend Michelle Buurs; his children, Jennifer Bell (Tony Falconer), Lori Carter (Chris Beach), Richard Carter (JoAnn), Megan Carter, Gabriel Carter (Victor Moses) and Cassandra Carter (Tim Wharton); his stepmother Lois Carter; and his siblings, Lloyd Carter, Joyce Carter and Annette Ward. He is also survived by 5 nephews, 4 aunts and several cousins.
