Rita Powell Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rita Powell of Clinton, Ontario, who passed away on July 13, 2021 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Flynn and Mabel Flynn (Riley); her siblings, Jean Shelton (Charles), John Flynn, Bill Flynn, Hugh Flynn (Donna) and Dorothy Dupee (Ken); and her brothers-in-law, Wilfred Haines and Murray Butt.
She is survived by: her spouse Gene Powell of Clinton; her children, Dawn Powell-Parker, Lori and Dave McLellan of Stratford; her grandchildren, Kerry Parker, Michelle Parker and Noelle McLellan; her sisters, Hazel Haines and Frances Butt; and her sisters-in-law, Donalda Flynn and Marie Flynn. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held at the Clinton United Church 105 Ontario Street, Clinton on Saturday July 17, 2021 at 11 a. m. All those wishing to attend the visitation or funeral service must register through the funeral home.
