Peter Damsma Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peter Damsma (Clinton, Ontario), who passed away on March 1, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Sandra Damsma; his siblings, Anna Damsma, Annie Boersma, Hank and Andy; his siblings-in-law, Sjoukje Branderhorst, Johannus Kroodsma, Bert Branderhorst and Steven Elgersma; and his great grandchild Lucas Wynja.

He is survived by: his children, Henry (Deb Damsma), Judy (Dave Zwiep), Ingrid (Clarence Dekens) and Mark (Judith Damsma Especially); his grandchildren, Karen Wynja (Bryan), Rachel Hummel (Matt), Justin Damsma (JJ), Matt Zwiep (Amy), Mindie Wiechel (Matt), Rob Dekens (Tina), Michelle Hol (Marius), Amanda Mahon (Derrell), Katelyn Kell (Will), Laura Damsma and Emily Damsma; his sisters, Ida Damsma, Tinnie Damsma and Lientje Damsma-Kroodsma; and his siblings-in-law, Maryke Brandt Damsma, Gerry Boersma, Pete, Audrey Boersma and Jenny Elgersma Cousins. He is also survived by great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Huron Christian School in Clinton will be appreciated.
