He was predeceased by: his spouse Lynn Marie Moffat; his siblings, Bill (Amy Gerrits), Jean (John Veenstra), Marion Geiling, Don (Hilda Gerrits), Henry (Leida Gerrits), Jack (Gertie Gerrits), Dianne Vander Wal, Gerrie (Bob Neutel), Marg Gerrits, Gordon (Ann Gerrits), David (Wendy Moffat) and Janice (Ivan Richardson); his parents, Herman Gerrits and Margje Gerrits; his parents-in-law, John and Barbara Moffat; and his in-laws, Grace, John Greidanus, John Gerrits, Herman and Cathy Gerrits.

He is survived by: his children, Deidre Gerrits and Pat Do. He is also survived by the extended families and nieces and nephews.
