She was predeceased by: her husband Dennis Wright Penfound; her sons, Michael Penfound and Robert Penfound; her brother Royce; her sister-in-law Margaret Fremlin; her brother Elgin; and her sister-in-law Joy Penfound.
She is survived by: her children, Kathy, John Young of Goderich, Ruthann and Steven O'Connell of Clinton; her grandchildren, Abria Wallace (Jason) of Barrie, Bronwen Young of Goderich, Kimbra Young of Stratford and Ian Rowsell of Toronto; and her siblings-in-law, Mervyn, Marilyn Penfound of Stettler, AB, Lloyd and Vera Penfound of Auburn. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.
