He was predeceased by: his parents, Kurt Riesen and Elsie Van Riesen; and his brother Van Riesen. He is survived by: his wife Marlene; his children, Chris Van Riesen and Shelley Hopkins; his grandsons, Justin Hopkins (Becca) and Zachary Hopkins; and his great grandchildren, Jude and Brooks. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, many dear friends.
