She was predeceased by: her husband William Martin; her parents, Hazel Shine and Russel Shine; her stepdaughter Gail; and her brothers, Dalton and Ken Shine (Donna).

She is survived by: her child Robin Small (Jeremy) of Manotick; her stepchildren, Dale Martin and Randy Martin of Oshawa; her grandchildren, Cathy, John, Michael, Doug, Denielle, David, Brandon, Tina, Will, Rusty, Mollie and Max; her brother Clayton Shine of Monkton; and her niece Brenda. She is also survived by several other nieces, nephews, friends.
