He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Montgomery and Bessie Montgomery; his brother Lyle; his sister-in-law Shirley Montgomery; and his sisters, Erma Davis of Wichita, KS and Beulah Woods of Anderson, IN.
He is survived by: his spouse Arlyn (Powell); his daughter Karen; his son-in-law Daniel Gagné of Wichita Falls, TX.; his grandchildren, Alessandra and Colton; his sister Joy Heiser (Gordon) of Columbia, SC; his brother-in-law Jack Powell (Joan) of St. Joseph; and his nieces and nephews, Fay Rate (Ken), Renee Lanthier (Nick) of Pittsford, NY, Shelly Reeves (Herbie) of Irmo, SC, Jenine Hurst (Steve), Jason Powell (Maggie), Trowbridge and John Powell (Kate).
For those too far away to attend and due to Covid-19 limitations, the celebration will be live streamed from the funeral home website.
