He was predeceased by: his siblings, Jean (John Veenstra), Marion Geiling, Don (Hilda Gerrits), Henry (Leida Gerrits), Jack (Gertie Gerrits), Dianne Vander Wal, Gerrie (Bob Neutel), Marg Gerrits, Gordon (Ann Gerrits) and Mike Gerrits; and his parents-in-law, Grace, John Greidanus, John Gerrits, Herman, Cathy Gerrits and Lynne Moffatt.
He is survived by: his wife Amy; his children, Herman, Michelle Gerrits, Kevin, Angela Gerrits, Cherry and Paul Hoste; his grandchildren, Chad, Lauren, Ashton, Paisley, Kaissen, Alexis and Ty; and his great grandchild Nova. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
As expressions of sympathy memorial donations to the Huron Christian School, or the Clinton Public Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
