She was predeceased by: her husband William "Bill" Chowen of Clinton; and her granddaughter Gabrielle Mitchell. She is survived by: her daughters, Beth (Lalit Jain), Carol (Larry Mitchell) and Darlene Prouse (Ken Schroeder); her grandchildren, Justin, Rajiv Jain, Jasmine, Noah Iannetta, Dana, Bob McBride, Devon and Jenna Prouse; her great grandchildren, Calder, Milan, Oscar, Carly, Adelaide and Charlotte; her sister Janet (Terry Fischer); and her sister-in-law Isobel Gibson.
