He was predeceased by: his parents, Hendrik Jan Nyman and Lina Johanna Nyman; and his siblings, Jan, Wim (Dien), Henk, Johan, Arie, Grada and Lientje.
He is survived by: his sisters, Dien and Riek (Wim); his sisters-in-law, Annie, Gerda and Ada; his wife Ann; and his children, Hank (Joan), Bethany, Diane (Bill), Derek, Devon, Leona (John), Sarah, Fred (Jennifer), Anneliese, Anthony (Angela), Nick, Connor, Katherine and Alanna. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
