He was loved and cherished by many people including: his significant other Claire Perron; his children, Tim, Sonya Wubs and Danielle Wubs (Tim Vanderlinden); his parents, Hilda Wubs and John Wubs; and his siblings, Irene, Dan Campbell, Kathy, Tim McLean, Wilma, Don Hoggarth, John and Jana Wubs. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
