He was predeceased by: his parents, Conrad Schaus and Alma Schaus (Bieman); his granddaughter Courtneay Jane Steele; and his siblings, Conrad Schaus (Viola), Eugene Schaus (Erna), Hulda Werner (Nelson), Aaron Schaus (Emma), Gertrude Bender (Arno) and Len Schaus (Evelyn).
He is survived by: his wife Elsie Lantz; his children, Dennis (Wilma Schaus), Dovene (John Steele), B. C. and Douglas (Susan Schaus); his grandchildren, Daniel, Linda Schaus, Marc Schaus, Jennifer Steele, Casey Steele, Alayna, Tim Tubman, Ryan, Annie Schaus, Meagan and Justin Moorey; and his great grandchildren, Brock, Kara, Jackson, Gracie, Mason, Riley and Cameron.
Memorial donations to St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Clifford, would be appreciated.
