He is survived by: his children, Vance, Julie Dettman of Clifford, Tracey, Ron, Wroxeter, Regan, Judy Dettman of Clifford, Jacquelyn, Derek Detzler of Mildmay, Stephanie and Steve Carter of Kitchener; his grandchildren, Tara, Mike Taberer, Jocelyn, Dave Tomek, Angela, Ryan Tupper, Mitchell, Miranda, Tyson, Ray Carino, Brody, Brittany Dettman, Jessica, Alex Martin, Taylor, Aaron Keunen, Maddie Detzler, Tanner Pridham, Braxton, Chase, Logan, Paige Carter, Evangeline, Oliver, Jaxson, Judah, Hunter, Clark, Brooklynn, Rachel, Jade, Ryder, Calla, Cooper and Layla; his brother Ken Dettman of Clifford; and his siblings-in-law, Bev, Barry Reed of London, Deborah, Calvin Matheson of Listowel, Rhonda and Reid Wilson of Moorefield.
