It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rene Lafontaine (Chesterville, Ontario), who passed away on March 26, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his spouse Marg Chapman; his parents, Rene Lafontaine and Helena Monaghan; and his siblings, Gloria Levere, Audrey Strong, Vera Smith, Joan Pollex, Bernard and Edward.
He is survived by: his daughters, Deborah Eacott, Maureen Lafontaine and Sue Goyette (Richard); his brothers, Phillip (Sonya), Richard and George (Ginette); his grandchild Sadly; and his great grandchildren, Kimberly, Natalie, David and Josie. He is also survived by brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, and nephews.
