She was predeceased by: her husband Stuart; her son Abraham; and her siblings, Pietertje van der Werf, Roelofke DeJong, Tjitske Kronemeijer, Engbert, Hans, Joeke and Harmen Kloosterman.

She is survived by: her children, Grace Staal (Basil) of Navan, Anne Bouwers (John) of Metcalfe, Bill, Athens, John, Teresa Madden (Keith) of Prescott, Jenny Van Ryswyk (Peter) of Lyndhurst, Pat, Nepean, Hilda (Henry) of Kroon, Rita Heymans (Gerry) of Russell, Sylvia Harmsma (Rick) of Mallorytown, Harold and Connie Meinema (Dan) of Renfrew; her siblings, Ytje Kloosterman of Alberta and Abraham Kloosterman (Anje); and her sister-in-law Janke Kloosterman. She is also survived by 50 grandchildren, 65 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
