She was predeceased by: her husband Glendon Smith; her parents, Dalton McDermid and Dorothy McDermid; and her brother Lyal McDermid. She is survived by: her children, Lynn (Danielle) and Donna Lee (Mike); her grandchildren, Melissa (Matt), Patrick (Jaimie), Michelle (Julien) and Dominique (Brodie); her great grandchildren, Olivia, Hailey, Emma, Riley, Madison, Levi and Beau; her grandchildren, Treacey, Samantha and Sinead; and her sister-in-law June McDermid. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
