She was predeceased by: her husband Henry Hoogeveen; her parents, Theodorus VanderStraaten and Johanna VanderStraaten; her siblings, Rejeanne of Bruijn, Anthony, Piet, Martin, Gerrit, Sjef and Harry VanderStraaten; and her grandson Adam Hoogeveen.
She is survived by: her children, Ted (Denise) of Ottawa, Jack (Dianne) of Chesterville, Joanne Seymour (Greg) of Barrhaven, Mary Dillabough (Bob) of Chesterville and Mike (Wendy) of Chesterville; her grandchildren, John, Ryan, Jaclyn, Cory, Kim, Eric, Kate, Sara, Rebecca, Mandy, Theo, Kevin and Taryn; her great grandchildren, Abigail, Gabriel, Mason, Addison, Maeve, Daley, Rylen, Ellie-Mae, Blake and Cohen; and her siblings, Cor (Nolda) of Holland, Koos Miet Dekkers (Antoinette) of Holland and Mientje (Tony) of Holland. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Arrangements Due to Covid restrictions private family arrangements are entrusted to the Marsden & McLaughlin Funeral Home in Chesterville.
