He is survived by: his father Gordon Merkley of Chesterville; and his aunts and uncles, Bonnie Marks (Steve) of Cornwall, Clifford Tyo (Theresa) of Alexandria, Joanne Pouliot of Cornwall, Heather Zulinski (Mark) of Perth, Robert Merkley (Marg) of Chesterville, Doug Merkley (Sue) of Winchester, Nancy Carruthers (Carman) of Chesterville, Billy Merkley of Osgoode, Philip Merkley of Chesterville and Bryan Fisher of Osgoode.
