He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Shelley Summers; his sons, Jacob Walkden (Alexa) of Edwards, Noah Walkden of Edwards and Brandon Lovely of Kemptville; his parents, David Walkden and Glenna Walkden of Morrisburg; his sister Tammy Hedge (Clint) of Morewood; his nieces and nephews, Branden and Cameron Hedge; and his mother-in-law Sharyn Summers of Winchester Springs.
