Janny Geurkink Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 28, 2020, Janny Geurkink (Chesterville, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Arie; her son Fred; her grandson Benjamin; her parents, Fred Zandbergen and Joan Zandbergen; and her brother Rutger.
She is survived by: her children, Jack, Diane Geurkink, Nancy, John De Jong, Ray Geurkink, Angela Vanhaelen, Michael, Catherine Geurkink, Shawn and Gislaine Geurkink; and her siblings, Freda (Harold Tibben), Henry (Hennie Zandbergen), Dini (Nick Frans), Alice (Jim VanDoorn), Richard (Yettie Zandbergen), Bill (Coby Zandbergen), Fred (Mattie Zandbergen), John (Theresa Zandbergen) and Jo-Ann (Bill Hoftyzer). She is also survived by 21 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
In the community she volunteered with the Heart and Stroke Foundation and the Cancer Society, often collecting donations for the Daffodil campaign.
