It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Hendrik Willem Heykoop (Chesterville, Ontario), who passed away at the age of 94, on January 14, 2025. He was predeceased by: his siblings, Annie Heykoop and William Heykoop; and his stepgranddaughter Tracey. He is survived by: his wife Annie Heykoop; his children, Anja Berends (Ben), Jack and Hank (Monika); his stepchildren, Sid Blokland (Nancy), Harvey Blokland (Kristine), Linda Delean (Lucien) and Albert Blokland (Heidi); and his sibling Johannas Heykoop. He is also survived by his 17 grandchildren and many great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Dixon's Corners Christian Reform Church. A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
