It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Laakso (Chesterville, Ontario), who passed away on May 21, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Helen Laakso to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her daughter Wendy Laakso; her parents, Harry Daggett and Anne Daggett; her siblings, Rona McRobert, Richard Daggett, John Daggett and James Daggett; her son Harold James; and her grandson Taylor.
She is survived by: her children, Kelly-Ann Hess (Jim) of Chesterville, Dayle Whittaker (Todd) of Guelph and Daniel Laakso (Teresa) of Sudbury; her grandchildren, Jennifer, Matthew, Brennan, Shelby, Rachel, Mavrick, Cole, Kurtis and Kristin; and her great grandchildren, Liam, Ethan, Lauren, Grace, Emma, Hazel and Izaiah. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
