He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Judith Allen; his sons, Barry (Heather), Matthew (Clare), Jonathan (Steven) and Michael Allen (Frances); his grandchildren, Nicolas (Kaylie), Angus, Jack, Stella, Fiona, Owen and Henry; and his great grandchild Elliot.
