He was predeceased by: his son John; his brother Erwin (late Helen); and his sister-in-law Doris (Cliff). He is survived by: his wife Norma Duncan (Armstrong); his children, Douglas (Caroline), Dianne (Michael) and James (Nancy); his grandchildren, Marie, Paula, Philip, Shannon, Patrick, Irene, Emma, Scott and Mark; his siblings, Karl (Nona) and Vivien (late Mancel); his sister-in-law Muriel (late James); and his daughter-in-law Sue. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
