He was predeceased by: his brother Jeffrey Gallagher. He is survived by: his sibling Wend Geertsma; his brother-in-law Jake; and his nieces and nephews, Pam Como (Brian) and Debbie Bhatt (Sanjay). He is also survived by nieces and great nephews, cousins and friends.

Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
