He was predeceased by: his father Terry Klages; and his brother-in-law Duane Steinacker. He is survived by: his mother Anne Klages (McKinnon) of Chesley; his friend Krista Louise Steinacker; his wife Krista (Steinacker); his children, Kendra Klages (Aidan Richards) of Toronto and Tyler Klages; his parents-in-law, Peter and Faye Steinacker (McTavish) of Tara; and his brothers, Mike (Lori), Neil (Becky) of Hanover and Chris (Natasha) of Chesley. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Ontario Federation of Anglers & Hunters or the Chesley Hospital Foundation would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
