It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Paulina Parish (Chesley, Ontario), who passed away on November 8, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Paulina Parish to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Marinus Johanna and Maria Johanna; and her siblings, Betty Afman and Abe Dieleman. She is survived by: her husband Jim of Chesley; her children, Jan Knapp (Reg), Jim Jr. (Sylvia) of Blyth, Randy (Julia) of Aylmer, Mark (Joanne) of Damascus and Brent (Aneetta) of Chesley; her grandchildren, Dianna, Ben, Corey (Laura), Joanne (Arlin), David (Kirsten), James (Candace), Katelyn, Brendyn, Cherise (Ben), Shaylyn and Jessalyn; her great grandchildren, Molly, Tayson, Charles, Case, Josiah, Alissa, Nicolas, Linnaya, Levi, Macey, Axel, Rémy, Arie, Crosby, Alexis and Denver; her sisters, Nellie Montgomery of Burlington and Marie Carter of Midhurst; and her siblings-in-law, Theresa Dieleman and Theo Afman. She is also survived by dogs and cats.
Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, the family has decided to hold a private funeral service honouring Paulina's life at Geneva Presbyterian Church, Chesley.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Geneva Presbyterian Church, Hanover & District Hospital Foundation or the charity of your choice would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
