He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Cann and Murle Cann (Scott); his wife Audrey; his son Ron; his daughter-in-law Catherine; and his siblings, Betty Buchanan (Robert) and Kenneth Cann (Bonita).

He is survived by: his cousins, Audrey Bailey and Ralph; his sons, Rick (Leslie) of Delhi and Dan of Hanover; his child-in-law Vania of Toronto; his grandchildren, Jason, Nathan, Andrea, Ashley, Samantha-Marie and Matthew; and his great grandchildren, Marley, Sadie, Theoden, Rhëal and Damian.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Brucelea Haven Activation Fund would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
