It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Margaret McDonald of Chesley, Ontario, who passed away on May 2, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Dawm and Bertha Dawm (Lemcke); her husband Jack; her children, Jerry and Dianne Fortier; her son-in-law Art Wappler; and her siblings, Helen Ryan, Eileen Markle and Gordon Dawm.

She is survived by: her children, Larry and Peggy Wappler of Waterloo; her children-in-law, Michael Fortier of Renfrew and Cathy Alves of Plattsville; her grandchildren, Christel, Jeremy, Amy, Jonathan, Jamie, Amber, Jasmin, Angelina, Valerie and Jim; and her siblings-in-law, Jean Haddow and Blair Baldwin.

Once again being surrounded by friends and members of her community gave her great comfort as everyone began to experience the effects of our current pandemic.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to The War Amps, Grey Bruce Animal Shelter or the charity of your choice would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
