In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Leander leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Leander may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He is survived by: his father Lorne Emke; his spouse Mel (Hohl); his children, Tristin Emke (Breelyn Konrad-Dolson) of Owen Sound and Lily Emke (Colton Tanner); his mother Linda Godwin (Benninger) of Port Elgin; his siblings, Leslie Emke (Sherry) and Lisa Emke of Hanover; his pet Diesel; and his brother-in-law Wes Hohl (Hillary Makin) of Holland Centre.
A reception was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Klages Mill (11 1st Ave N, Chesley, ON N0G1L0).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Canadian Men's Health Foundation, or any other organization that supports men and their mental health would be appreciated.
