John Smith Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Smith (Chesley, Ontario), who passed away on August 13, 2020 at the age of 87. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John Smith to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Nelson Smith and Mae Smith (Albright); his brother Wallace "Wally"; and his wife Hazel. He is survived by: his children, Gordon (Vicki) of Walkerton, Allan (Amanda Lee-Smith) of Whitby and Sue Smith (Tom Holub) of Whitby; and his grandchildren, Matthew, Ethan (Kelsey), Rose and Sam. He is also survived by friends and his beloved pets.

Visitation will be held at Rhody Family Funeral Home, Chesley on Monday, August 17, 2020 from 1 – 4 and 7 – 9 p. m. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, 25 people will be allowed in the building at any given time, and visitors must wear a mask and follow physical distancing rules.

Memorial donations to Geneva Presbyterian Church or Chesley Hospital Foundation would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
