John Petrie Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Petrie (Chesley, Ontario), who passed away on August 24, 2020 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Gordon Petrie and Violet Petrie (Groves); his grandfather Groves; his cousin Jimmy Miller; his children, Debora Hickling of London, Susan Schlorff (John) of Bruce Township, Richard (Gail) of Kitchener and Wendy Bentley (Kelvin) of Napier; his grandchildren, Amy (Corey), Lindsay (Dave), Sara, Kevin (Ashlee), Cameron and Matthew; his great grandchildren, Hannah, Payten, Tristen, Carter and Leigha; his wife Fran; and his sister Shirley Schultz. He was also cherished by his wife, children and grandchildren.
Memorial donations to the Chesley Medical Clinic (cheques payable to Municipality of Arran-Elderslie), Chesley Hospital Foundation or St. John's United Church would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
