He was predeceased by: his parents, Neil McAllister and Irene McAllister (Keith); his sister Carol Ann Cotter; and his sister-in-law Marion McAllister. He is survived by: his children, Scott (Erin) of Dorchester, Mark of Hamilton and Heather Hazlett (Ben) of Port Elgin; his grandsons, Wesley, Grant, Bryce, Calvin and Miles; his siblings, Don, Sandy (Brenda), Linda Tiffin (Bill) of Orillia and Gayle Toyne (James) of Sarnia; and his brother-in-law Bernard Cotter of Walkerton. He is also survived by his children and more recently his grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Neurological Health Charities Canada (NHCC) would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
