It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Isabel Wilkin (Chesley, Ontario), who passed away on December 24, 2024, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob Wiseman and Mathilde Wiseman (Liesemer); her husband Harold; her daughter Elaine; and her siblings, Anna Lantz (Elmer), Conrad Wiseman (Eileen), Edward Wiseman (Joyce) and Lloyd Wiseman.
She is survived by: her children, Brenda McLean (Ross) of Chesley, Mary Ann Molnar (Steve) of Hanover, John (Eva), Eric (Patricia) of Hanover, Janice Sweiger (Todd) and Susan VanderVoort (Paul) of Waterloo; her grandchildren, Matthew, Steven (Sara), Stephanie (Trevor), Sara (Justin), Jonathan (Erica), Greg (Tori), Ryan (Andrea), Leann (Steve), Kelly (Kyle), Lindsay (Joel), Scott (Vanessa), Kenzie (Alyssa), Kayla (Nicole) and Karlee (Mark); her great grandchildren, Owen, Abby, Theron, Emre, Madelynn, Bauer, Tucker, Olive, Evelyn, Maggie, Jack, Devin, Lana, Landon, Katie, Olivia, Emma, Avery, Isla, Banks, Beatrice, Dawson, Deacon, Thomas and Hannah; and her sisters-in-law, Helen Spitzig of Walkerton and Dale Wiseman of Kitchener.
The pandemic years were very hard when family could not be by her side, especially at a time when she lost the love of her life, Harold, in September of 2020.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to SickKids Foundation or a charity of your choice would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
