He was predeceased by: his grandchildren, Richard Wilkins and Kayleen Wilkins; his parents, Florence Hilliard and Harry Hilliard Sr.; and his siblings, Catherine, Tom and Marjory.

He is survived by: his wife Alice Hilliard; his children, Kaye Wilkins (Ted) of Bolton, Connie Martin of Hamilton and Ruth Grant (Mike) of Scarborough; his grandchildren, Kirk Millner (Christina) of Hamilton, Shay Smeets of Innisfil, Kareen Wilkins of Bolton and Tasia Krystle Swaluk of Toronto; and his great grandchildren, Phoenix Thomas of Bolton and Clara Smeets of Innisfil. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
