He was predeceased by: his former wife Janice Gateman (Mink); his siblings, Eleanor McCaslin (Buck Pederson) and Gerald Gateman (Iris); his siblings-in-law, Jack Calhoun, Bruce McMillan, Shirley Disney and Bonnie Bierworth; and his parents, Milton Gateman and Irene Gateman (Ellis).
He is survived by: his wife Doreen "Dolly" (Disney); his sons, Jeff (Kathy) of Severn Bridge, Troy (Tracy) of Hanover and Mike (Dawn) of Shallow Lake; his grandchildren, Jaimie (Ryan), Madison (Gabriel), Graham, Cameryn and Janelle; his stepgrandchildren, Tyler (Jocelyn), Zac, Samantha (Thoeun) and Jordan (Josh); his stepgreat-grandchildren, Kai and Astrid; and his siblings, Carol Calhoun of Chatham, Ruth Beckenhauer of Georgetown, Glenna McMillan of Hanover and Jim (Anne) of Elmwood.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to MS Canada, Diabetes Canada, or The Kidney Foundation of Canada would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
