It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alan Saunders (Chesley, Ontario), born in York, Ontario, who passed away on December 9, 2019, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Saunders and Verna Saunders (Armstrong); his children, Cheryl Ground and Stephen; his son-in-law Bob Ground; and his sister Yvonne Morton.

He is survived by: his sister Yvonne "Bonnie"; his wife Joan; his daughter-in-law Shirley Dadson of Kincardine; his grandsons, Blake Ground (Sophie Lv) of Mississauga and Tyler Saunders of Kincardine; his brother Kenneth; his brothers-in-law, Bill Morton and John Harrison (Judy); his daughter Lynne Kofler (Fred); his grandsons, Jeff and Phil; and also, Barb, Amy and Howard.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Grey-Bruce Animal Shelter, Heart & Stroke Foundation or The Kidney Foundation of Canada would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
