He was predeceased by: his wife Myrtle Rhea DesJardine (Wood); his parents, Lesume DesJardine and Ella DesJardine (Kipfer); his son James DesJardine; and his son-in-law Ronald Crouse.
He is survived by: his children, Marlene Crouse of Chesley, Alan (Lorie DesJardine) and Darrell (Vivian DesJardine); and his siblings-in-law, Madeline DesJardine, Cecil Wood, Calvin Wood, Noelle Westlake and Linda Craig. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews.
