He was predeceased by: his daughter Sharon Douglas; his parents, Nikolas Rybchinski and Theresa Rybchinski; and his siblings, Pauline, Leo, Alex, Edward, Nestor, Paul and Mike Rybchinski.
He is survived by: his wife Nadine Reid; his children, Brenda Reid-Bruce (Graham) of Sauble Beach, Susan Astbury (Miles) of Oliphant, John Reid (Linda) of Hillsburn, N. S. and Tim Reid (Anne) of West Grey; his sisters, Josie and Janice; his grandchildren, Leslie, Michael (Allie), Sharah (Josh), Kyle, Leah (Andrew), Breanna (Clancy), Bruce, Brittany (Curt), Jacquelynn (Brad), Janessa and Angela (Jason); and his son-in-law Tom Douglas. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
