She was predeceased by: her siblings, Martin, Heinrich Fette and Anna Kalkstein; and her parents, Ernst Fette and Ilse Fette.

She is survived by: her husband Hubert Poppelreiter; her child Bernie Poppelreiter (Katie) of Meaford; her brothers, Richard (Pel) and Bernhard Fette; her siblings-in-law, Gertrud Albrecht (Martin) and Hermann Poppelreiter (Bonnie); and her pet Sampson. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews.
