She was predeceased by: her daughter Patricia; her parents, Arthur Neale and Violet Neale; her siblings, Victor, George Neale, Ethel Salm, Ida Middleton and Rosa Neale; and her brother-in-law Terry Moss.

She is survived by: her husband Robert Engel; her children, Dianne Jackson (Robert), Linda Hoffman (Bruce), Keith Engel (Stephanie) and Teresa Cristofanilli (John); her grandchildren, Shelley Vanstone (Rick), Cheryl McMillan (Jeff), Christopher Jackson (Vanessa), Lisa Galbraith (Jody), Sheena Guy (John), Stephanie Wawrzynczak (Filip), Jennifer Engel (Tim), Jessica Stewart (Chris), Travis Engel (Janine) and Quinton Steward (Daniele); and her parents-in-law, Muriel Moss and Doug Engel (Marie).
